Hi, welcome to this weeks update:
I Shot Rachelle_UK again last Wednesday in the studio, so far only have had chance to PP one image and that’s on my Flickr site, there are still a few good ones to get processed and on here, when I get time (aiming to have this done by mid week).
This last weekend has been a real mixed bag, Didn’t do any shooing on Saturday (in actual fact Saturday turned out strange – seemed to be really busy but not get much done) – well I got a Hair cut, bought some Magazines for reference, and we went to a kids party late afternoon, followed by Tea and then out to an Adults party. (I am tired already)
Sunday – Went to ISL Studios in Leeds for a shoot with Catherine Rushworth. I shot Catherine at the Urban Portraiture Training with Mark Skeet and Phil Winterbourne, so I had already met her, and seen an outfit which I didn’t manage to shoot her in on that day, having mentioned this to the guys at the Studio she brought it along, so I got my shots
. Catherine worked up to Art Nude level, a new Genre for me. Watching some of the other guys, work and how they go about it was the real benefit to me and something I hope to take forward.
I have still got an idea going on in my mind, involving a pair of Black feather wings, and a Samurai sword (honest it’ll look great – it does in my head anyway)
Also looking to do some Urbex/derelict building shooting, with a model if possibly, trying to sort the access out, as I would rather we have permission, than to try and ‘trespass’ at least that way I don’t have to go bolting with my kit, or worse leave any behind. I will post more pictures/details/rubbish as I come across it.

Hi,
Well I have been really busy with one thing and another.
Have had a few Framed prints done, of my work, which I believe look really stunning, will try get some pictures of them on the site before long.
I have been approached to undertake 3 wedding shoots this year, and already got a potential booking for 2010. Additionally I have been approached to do some Promo shoots for an Actor based in Leeds. More details to follow.
In the mean time, until I get chance to sort my galleries out, please check out my Flickr site for examples of work.
Best regards
Jonathan

Photography
Hi all,
Been busy over the Bank holiday weekend, really started Thursday evening at Morley Camera Club where I did a Strobism talk, that went well.
Good Friday, We took a drive to Skipton, what a horrible day (especially for photography!) – took the Twins on a Narrow Boat trip, that went down well (and they took plenty of photos)
Saturday – What can I say about Saturday, I spent Saturday on an extended course born from Photocamp, run by Mark Skeet and Phil Winterbourne (Both have some really insperational images for me in the portfolios) around Urban Portraiture, how and where, including approx 3hr of shooting 4 models – 1 session with Mark, then swapping for Phil the next. I would HIGHLY recommend going on this if you are interested in photography, and wanting to get into portraiture.
I have some 350 images to sift through, and homework was to get 3 of your best images done and sent to the group for each model (i.e. 12 images) so some work still to be done…
Sunday we took a trip to Bolton Abbey – and I got some great images, but can’t process them until I have done my UP2 work
Monday we went to the Seaside, not a single piccie with the DSLR, but I did get some jelly fish images on the iPhone (just OoF)
Galleries and such to follow soon.

I have published an updated Price-List, outlining standard print package costs.
The prices have reduced some from the last published list, this is due to varying reasons, though I would stress the quality has not changed for the worse, in actual fact, I wholeheartedly believe this to be the opposite. This has been achieved by using local supplies rather that the further a field ones used previously.
I’ll be posting a new section on here soon, enabling you to purchase from this site, rather than the US site I have been using, in the mean time, if you would like any prints, please contact me with your requirements.
