We had a last minute shoot Thursday gone, thanks to Emma for arranging and Gemma for modeling.

Anyway, my evening started off with a couple of issues, and it got worse.

I won’t go into it on here, but I was a tad late in my schedule, ended up rushing to get things sorted, was a bit late to the tunnel, and then the fun.

Problems with Flash guns, Triggers and actually getting a correct exposure ensued, thanks to John for having a couple of SB800′s and saving the day!

I ended up breaking a poverty wizard (the bracket problem thats well enough documented) and scuffing my 430EX :`(

Anyway, I almost nailed the image I wanted (and credit to Phil Winterbourn for inspiring it)

6th August had a shoot at John Bamford’s studio in Doncaster.  What a great place, the facilities are at first glance basic, yet the lighting, and Johns knowledge are great (excellent teacher and willing to help you get the image YOU want).

Helps of course having a good model, and on this count we had a great model Ellie Price.
