We had an evening shoot around Roundhay park on friday night, with a view to doing some Strobist shots. And this is one of my faves from the evening.

Busy times are coming 
So this week we have booked in Lisa-gisele a relatively new model from Bradford, we are going to have a strobist shoot in Roundhay with her.
The 2nd Wedding will be this weekend also (I am going to be 2nd to another local Wedding photographer)
Next week I will be attending a couple of group shoots, and have a few good ideas for them, so the results will appear here soon

Angela kindly agreed to do a group shoot at ISL Studios in Morley, Leeds. It was a daunting night – we were expecting 2 models and a fairly good turn out. Instead we got 1 model and an amazing turn out.
Angela was at first a bit anxious about this, but I took charge of the group, and the shoot commenced. It was a good night for images. The one above is my most viewed image from the shoot (and I only managed a few images myself)
Anyway, more to come soon, once we can get another shoot sorted.

After a great day at PhotoCamp Bradford {2009} – met a few old friends, and some new ones.
Had some great sessions, and insights into new ideas for me. Also had some great conversations with a Local photographer, come hero of mine, and look forward to joining him on Group shoots and using his studio facilities for family shoots.
We are planning a joint shoot to start with, probably with Angela (by probably I mean hopefully!)
Well seems some thing never change, well I have now secured use of another local studio to add to the Studios I already use as and when I have shoots. The reasons for this? well not that I need to explain myself to anyone, but they are two fold. 1) different facilities offer different choices, which depends on who and what you are shooting. 2) recent issues with booking not being recorded and the like, have meant I need to be sure I can shoot.
I have now diarised my shoots fully, and will try combat 2) but I must have a contingency.
Also, I have taken the decision to not be a member as such of Friends of ISL, why, well lets just say to much political mumbo jumbo in a what should be learning environment isn’t good.
I need to learn from others much higher standard than me, as I am one of the many that learn better through seeing, as opposed to reading books. Much easier doing. I will give more details on this soon. Upcoming shoots will as yet remain unchanged.

Surprise Surprise, this is one of the most viewed images from this group shoot. Hayleigh and Adam requested this shot. And to be fair it’s one that really works with them.
So looking forward to getting these two a slot in the studio to do some more fashions/couply type shots.
